  • Very, very personable folks here, and non-judgmental. At 63 yrs. old, it has been the finest organization I have had the privilege to be a part of. There is only the Word of God (Bible), preached here. Nothing added to the Word like an awful lot of other "Christian" churches. Doctrine is excellent! Free Grace grounded.

  • Not just a church, a family. Sermon's are backed up with scripture. Something for all ages, Newborns to the elderly.

  • Great place, welcoming, friendly, great spirit. If you want a church that is following the Word, this is the place.

I am not much for big box churches and the outside of this one fits the bill to a tee. I was disturbed by their sponsorship of the Compassion Experience. (Which initially I was drawn to deeply..until I learned more) The New Yorker provides a good review of the Compassion Experience and here are two excerpts that made me suspicious of CrossoverChurch/Compassion Experience Sponsorship. From the New Yorker. "The units (Compassion Experience Trailers that ask for money to sponsor a child after the experience) themselves were built by Brewco Marketing Group, an experiential-marketing firm, based in Kentucky, that operates similar exhibits for brands like McDonald’s, Tastykake, and the Scott Paper Company. Tim Glenn, the communications director for Compassion International, wouldn’t tell me how much each semitrailer costs to build and operate. “This is a competitive industry, and I don’t want to disclose anything that gives our competitors an advantage,” he said. But, he added, “It is cheaper than television. We wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t an effective marketing tool and we didn’t get a good R.O.I.” Also "Administrative costs in the 2014 fiscal year were a hundred and thirteen million dollars, just more than forty-five million of which was spent on salaries and benefits; according to the organization’s most recent publicly available I.R.S. filing, in 2013 this category included pay packages in the quarter-million-dollar range for several senior executives and of four hundred and twenty thousand dollars for its retiring president"
